Since 2018, we have galvanized teachers across the state of South Carolina to advocate on behalf of themselves and their students. We have one goal: to place an extraordinary teacher in every classroom in South Carolina.

What We've Achieved

  • Coordinated #alloutmay1, a rally at the State House where over 10,000 supporters used their voice for change.

  • Facilitated discussions with policy makers that culminated in the following changes for teachers: minimum 4% salary increase and protected planning for one period.

  • Hosted workshops to help attendees understand the legislative process.

  • Created a community forum focused on educational improvement with over 29,000 people.

  • Encouraged teachers to advocate on behalf of their classrooms.

  • Established relationships with stakeholders in order to facilitate positive change for public education in S.C.
